Summary
The "Study on Parent-Child Play Interaction" takes place as part of regular video diagnostics in our university outpatient clinic.
As part of this video diagnosis, we make video recordings of parents together with their children and of the parents as a couple, which can be used in psychotherapeutic treatment. Video diagnosis is a standard service we offer to all parents and children who come to us for psychotherapy.
The survey dates for the "Study on Parent-Child Play Interaction" will take place as part of the video diagnostics at the KiJu University Outpatient Clinic at Leopoldstraße 44, 80802 Munich, and will be conducted by specially trained staff. These appointments usually take place outside of therapy sessions. Our staff will explain the exact procedure of the appointment to the participants on site, including instructions for the games, record the videos, and be available to answer any questions you may have. The staff member will not be in the room during the video recordings themselves.
Participation in this study is voluntary, and you will be informed and educated in detail and transparently about the study content and procedures as well as the data protection framework conditions before you give your consent and participate. If you decide to participate in a study, this means that the recorded videos may also be evaluated for research purposes and the anonymized data may be used in scientific analyses. All data will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be passed on to unauthorized third parties. In our scientific and statistical analyses, we only use pseudonymized behavioral data obtained from the video recordings or self-reported/third-party data collected via questionnaires.
